Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Uniform Shop Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Uniform Shop. In this role, you will help coordinate retail activities, support stock management, assist in customer service, and ensure the Shop operates efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Uniform Shop, including opening/closing procedures and customer service.
• Manage and monitor uniform inventory and stock levels.
• Support ordering of new stock and manage supplies in line with School requirements.
• Deliver high-quality service to families and students visiting the Shop.
• Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ensure the Shop is presented professionally and maintained to school standards.
• Help train and support shop assistants and volunteers.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in retail, school administration, or customer service.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic cash handling and POS system experience.
