Toowoomba Grammar School is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Uniform Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of the School’s Uniform Shop. This role is ideal for an experienced retail professional who enjoys working within a vibrant school community and delivering exceptional service to students and families.

About the Role

Reporting to the School’s Business Operations team, the Uniform Shop Manager is responsible for the efficient management of stock, financial processes, customer service, and overall shop presentation. The role ensures the smooth supply of uniforms while maintaining high service standards aligned with the school’s values and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Uniform Shop
• Manage inventory, ordering, supplier relationships, and stocktakes
• Provide professional and friendly service to students, parents, and staff
• Manage POS systems, cash handling, reconciliations, and reporting
• Coordinate uniform fittings and seasonal stock requirements
• Supervise and roster staff or volunteers (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with School policies and WHS requirements

About You

• Previous experience in retail management or stock control
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting
• Ability to manage peak periods, particularly at the commencement of term

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate III/IV in Retail, Business, or related field (preferred)
• Current Working With Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
• First Aid certification (desirable)
