Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Vocational Education and Training (VET) Coordinator to lead, manage and enhance the School’s VET and career pathway programs. This role plays a vital part in supporting students (Years 10-12) in vocational planning, work experience, traineeships and apprenticeships, liaising with industry partners to build strong opportunities for real-world career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of VET pathways and programs, ensuring alignment with industry needs and school goals.
• Support students in vocational planning, career pathway interviews, work experience placements, apprenticeships and traineeships.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers, TAFE providers, industry bodies and training organisations to secure opportunities for students.
• Monitor and report on student progression, qualification outcomes and program impact.
• Ensure compliance with relevant vocational education standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Careers Department to deliver career guidance, skills development workshops, and student support programs.

What You Bring

• Experience in vocational education coordination, career development services or related education roles.
• Strong understanding of VET frameworks, college/training partnerships and employment pathways.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents and industry partners.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and deliver outcomes in a dynamic educational environment.
• Qualifications in education, vocational training, career development or a related field are highly desirable.
